About Signed Off

Signed Off is an independent GitHub App built to raise the standard of done for software teams. It adds structured, enforceable checklists to GitHub issues — with approval gates, org-wide templates, and real enforcement — without requiring any external infrastructure.

The app is built and maintained by Eswar Vandanapu.

Why it exists

Most teams already have checklists. Few teams enforce them. Signed Off exists because the gap between done and actually done costs teams time, quality, and trust — and closing that gap shouldn't require a separate tool, a separate database, or a separate workflow.

Charitable purpose

All proceeds from Signed Off, after expenses, go to support the Vandanapu Pulliah and Gangaraju Memorial Charitable Trust, founded by my late father, Vandanapu Ramabrahmam, in Lakkavaram, Eluru District, Andhra Pradesh, India. He ran the trust for more than 25 years and dedicated most of his life for improving the education standards in the village.

The trust runs two programmes in the community:

  • A community hall available free of charge for charitable events, and at subsidised rates for personal occasions
  • A school providing discounted K–7th grade education to students in the region
